Help your brain work with you—not against you—so you can ride with more confidence, clarity, and calm.
You’re not alone—and you’re not broken.
Many capable riders struggle with nerves on competition day. You work hard, you care deeply… but when the pressure’s on, your thoughts spiral, your heart races, and your confidence evaporates.
If that sounds familiar, you might be asking yourself:
- Why do I ride so well at home but freeze at a show?
- How do I stop letting nerves ruin my warm-up?
- Why do I always feel like I’m not good enough?
- What if I mess up in front of everyone?
These thoughts are normal—but they don’t have to define your riding.
This course will show you how to manage your mindset so you can ride with confidence, perform under pressure, and actually enjoy competing again.
✅ Understand where your stress comes from (and how to manage it)
✅ Shift limiting beliefs and negative thought loops

Meet your Coach
As a rider and mindset coach, I created this course because I saw how many talented riders were being held back—not by their ability, but by their mindset.
This course brings together everything I’ve learned about equestrian mindset, stress management, and rider psychology on my journey to Grand Prix. I’ll walk with you through each module to help you shift from stressed and stuck… to confident and calm.
You don’t need to “toughen up” or “just relax.” You need a mindset that supports you. And that’s exactly what we’ll build—together.
It’s amazing how much progress I’ve made working through your comp modules!
I’m a psych nurse and therapist, and I really wasn't sure how much an online course could help, but it has been transformative. Yesterday, I competed in a CT event and achieved my first showjumping round in 25 years. I didn’t even check my scores because my main focus was on two goals: completing the SJ course and hitting my canter transitions in the test. I nailed both!
I started in February 2025, and even after completing just a third, I felt more confident.
After struggling with competition anxiety my coach, Matthew Archibald, recommended the Transforming Competition Mindset course. Initially skeptical, I was surprised by how effective the strategies were. By March, with my coach’s support and techniques from the course, I overcame my nerves, scratched my first test, then regrouped and rode the second successfully, leaving me proud of myself and my horse.
Completing the Transforming Your Competition Mindset Course was a game changer for me.
It gave me a huge boost in confidence - not just in the saddle, but in everyday life too. It’s helped me shift my mindset in powerful ways, especially around riding. I no longer get stuck in self-doubt or nerves. Instead, I ride with more confidence and enjoyment. I’d recommend this course to anyone who wants to harness the power of mindset and truly enjoy their riding and completion experience!!
